I knew this was going to happen.

I track points M-F with no problem, but come the weekend, I don't track worth a damn. I need to get better at this, and not leave the tracker at my desk.

I did work out 6 days last week! I either did Couch to 5K, or one of my Firm Vidoes. I am so proud of myself. Until:

Sunder I was a bum and didn't do anything
Monday I had a migrain and didn't do anything
Tuesday I stayed home and started to do 4 different vidoes. I didn't make it to the gym to start week 4 of C25K, so I will probally repeat week 3 Thursday and Saturday *shrug*

I HAVE to get a work out in tonight to make up for the cake that they had for Dr. Harris's retirement party. I didn't have to have the cake, but I can't resist cake. I think if Corwin goes to bed early enough I will try to get one of the Firm Cardio workouts in. I don't know.

So far I have been jumping around the 211-213 weight range. Nothing is helping to get rid of the stress weigth that I put on this summer. Sucks! I don't like being at the same weight I was this time last year. It means my hard work was for nothing! I cant lose weight for anything right now. *Sigh*

Well, I moved Homes September 11, 2006

I decided rather than to try to have an entire website devoted to my weight loss blog, I would start small, with just a weight loss blog. I think this will be easier to manage. Or at least I hope it will.

I weighed in at 211.8 this morning, so officially, I am down. A whole .2. It could be worse.

I did eat like a pig on Saturday after I got home from work, so that could have something to do with it. Who knows.*shrug*

I broke down and did an abs workout yesterday. I did The Firm's Jiggle Free Abs, and it was a killer. I also tried to do my C2k5 workout yesterday at my parents, but since there is no air in the room their treadmill is in, I started overheating about 12 minutes in, and ended it halfway through instead of finishing. I think I will do the Ab video this evening after Corwin is in bed, and will run again tomorrow.

Also, I think I will be going jeans shopping this evening, or sometime this week.

September 9th blog

I think I spoke too soon.
My weight is back up to 212, but I still have two days to my official WI.. I don't know why. I have been OP, within points all week. It is starting to look like 4 NP is too much, and 0 NP is too little (Or it could be 4 is too little). I think starting Monday I will try only using 2 NP, but that is going to be rough.
I had a great run on Thursday. Still doing the Couch 2 5K Program. I did Week 2 Day 2, and had a walking speed of 3.5 MPH and a running speed of 4.7. I am still working on increasing my running speed, and I know it will take time to get to 6MPH. Man that sounds fast. But that would be 10 minute miles, and I remember in Middle and High school, if you couldn't do a 10 minute mile than you failed the class. I was one of the losers who failed the class.
I also took the step to cancel my WW Online membership, for the 4th or 5th time this year. I am doing a good job logging and keeping track of everything, but right now we can't even afford the $18 a month for it. Sorry, but I would rather spend that money on dinner. And that is why I am on WW to begin with. I did create a new page on this site where I will track my points. I just hope that I can stay motivated enough to keep up with it.

September 6

So far so good today.
Last night I had an awesome run! I didn't have the greatest start to working out, however. I drove to the gym only to find that they were doing construction on the parking lot that I use, and had closed the entrance. I was confused because there were cars parked in the lot. It wasn't until the third pass around the block that I noticed that they turned the handicap spots into the new entrance. I got into the gym only to find that I didn't have my ID card on me. We can get in one time per semester without a card, so I used that. I went to get a towel and a lock, only to find that they were out of both. Bummer. I went in the locker room and started changing my clothes only to realise that I forgot to wash them, and they spent the entire weekend stewing in the back of the VUE, so I was stinky. I hauled my stinky body over to the treadmills only to find out that ALL the treadmills were out of order or in use. I hoped on the first one that came available, but it wasn't a treadmill style that I had used before. No biggie, and I am proud to say that I made it through Week 2 Day 1 of the Couch to 5 K program!
Since I had a huge boatload of points leftover for the day (11) and I earned 5 AP, plus me deciding to start counting 4 nursing points, Steve and I decided to hit Sonic for their 1/2 price burger day. I was sure that I was going to be a good girl and only eat 1 1/2 (Hey, I was starving), but I wound up eating both burgers, and only had to dip into 2 1/2 Flexies. Kick Ass!
This morning had a good start. I did jump on the scale to see how much damage dinner had done, and I was down at least 1 lb! It was jumping between 210.8 and 211, so Yeah!
I had a PB&J for breakfast, and Banana for snack. We were going out for Indian for lunch with the gang, and that is where things took a turn for the worse. I didn't know that the Chicken Curry would wind up being 10pts for 1 cup. So including the rice, I had a 15 pt lunch. Ouch! Oh well, I have a ton of flexies for the week still.
Dinner tonight will be something with ground turkey, I haven't decided yet. We will see how complicated I am willing to get after we get Corwin's hair cut tonight.

September 5 From old blog

Well, this is going to be a big rehash of what I have on my home page. More info about me, and what I am doing here, on this site, in cyberspace.
I really need help with my weightloss. I have had good luck with it in the past, but I have slid and in the last three months I have undone most of the good I did during 5 months of being OP and with maintaining. We bought our first house two months ago, and moved in. During the stress of the move, and other stuff, I have managed to pack on 12 lbs, and I have been having trouble getting back OP with WW. I know I have two problem areas. I drink real Coke most days. I am trying to limit myself to one real Coke a day, and to drink diet for the rest of the day, but I don't like the chemicals in artificial sweeteners. I really need to cut Coke's out of my diet again, completely, but it is harder to do than it has been in the past.
I am still nursing my 23 month old son two to four times a day, and I am in a tizzy about nursing points. I probably should be using them, and counting them, but I am trying to do two weeks with out them to see how it affects my weight loss. So far, it hasn't been pretty. I gained three pounds last week. Of course that could be in part to my going overboard and having two Wendy's Big Bacon Classics last weekend. Not on the same day, but still, those things are a big hit to one's points.
Today is a work out day. I am in the process of doing the Couch to 5K program http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml. I am on Week 2 of the program. I have gone as far as Week 3 in the past before I have lost interest. I hope this time I can work up to being able to do the full 30 minute run, as running in a race is on my list of things to do before I turn 40.
